Dr. Abdollah Bahador is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) with specializing in advanced metallic materials and processing. His main research interests include Ti, Al, Cu alloys and composites, shape memory alloys, and welding metallurgy. Prior to joining UTM, he worked at Osaka University (OU), Japan as Assistant Professor from mid-2018 to early 2023. He was a committee member of the project “Center to Create Research and Educational Hubs for Innovative Manufacturing in Asia” at the Joining and Welding Research Institute at OU. Bahador is (co-)author of more than 40 journal papers indexed by the Web of Science Core Collection. As a first author, he has published 15 papers in top-tier academic journals in the fields of materials engineering and advanced manufacturing. His reputational standing is reflected in his roles as invited/keynote speaker at several international conferences as well as guest editor, editorial board member, and reviewer board member for numerous reputable international scientific journals. He also served as a committee member at several international conferences.
