Prof. Dr. B. Ramesh has 2 years of industrial experience and 17.3 years of teaching experience in Engineering education including administrative experience as Programme Director and HoD. He is presently working as Dean Industry 4.0, Dean R&D, and Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, J.J. College of Engineering and Technology, Tiruchirappalli. His areas of specialization includes machining, process optimization, predictive modeling, composite materials, materials characterization, vibrational analysis, NDT, friction welding, WEDM, laser machining, surface engineering and tribology. He has published 63 research papers in International Journals (SCI / SCIE – 24; Scopus Indexed – 28; Google Indexed – 11) and 5 research papers in International Conference proceedings. Also, he has authored 4 books and 8 book chapters. He has published three patents and fetched 2 design patents. He is a Reviewer and Editorial Board Member for many renowned International Journals. He has guest edited special issues in 3 SCI journals and 2 scopus journals.
